Taking the Blades off the Wall

So I have been away from blogging for a long time, almost a year. In that time a lot has happened, some of which I have reported on my other blog. Suffice it to say that in the past year I have had to rescue my oldest daughter and get her off to college, rescue my middle daughter and get her in my home and re-established in San Carlos (where I live), and in my spare time raise a toddler with my wife.

Busy, eh?

Not much time for anything else, much less blogging. Seems a lot was put on hold while life was managed.

However, things are seemingly back on track, as much as they ever are, and so it is time to pick up from last year and move forward.

Another important application of the principle, "just keep coming to practice". There are times when you will have to step off the way, get back into the world and take care of business. This is important, because we live in the world, have responsibilities but no real control of events. So no worries if you lose a day, or a month.

Or an entire year.

So long as you get back on the path.

My tendinitis is ok now, but I fear it is something I will just have to live with. Starting this week, Katana, Jian, Sai are back on the list. Add to that iron palm and running ( which never really stopped, that is my ultimate fallback).

To that you can add three new things. Hindi, Arabic and construction of a proa, a Micronesian sailing canoe.

Big bill you say, but you know, I am older now, and I cannot wait for tomorrow to do the things I want. All we really have is today.

And I promise to blog more...:-) Hope you come along.

Lilly, Ap kese he! hum thora hindi bol rehe he lekin arabic bol rahe nahi.

Or in other words, I am farther along in Hindi (which I have a bit of proficiency) than arabic( which I just started :-)) give me a few months and we can confuse everyone.
